Dumpster Rental Pricing: What Changes the Total Cost?
Roll-off pricing looks simple until the invoice arrives. The advertised rate usually covers one container, one delivery, a set number of days and a set weight allowance. Everything beyond that is priced separately, and those extras are where quotes diverge.
We do not publish market averages. Rates depend on your market, the provider's distance, the material and the receiving facility, and any figure we invented would be worse than no figure at all.

Container size
Larger containers usually carry a higher base rate and a different included weight allowance.
Included weight
Most quotes bundle a weight allowance. The allowance, not the volume, often decides the final invoice.
Extra tonnage
Material above the included weight is billed at a per-ton overage rate that varies by provider.
Debris type
Mixed household debris, construction waste, roofing material and yard waste can be priced and routed differently.
Heavy materials
Concrete, brick, block, dirt and soil are normally restricted to dedicated containers with fill lines and weight caps.
Rental duration
A set number of days is typically included; keeping the container longer adds a daily charge.
Extra days
Extra-day rates differ widely. Confirm the number before the container arrives, not after.
Delivery distance
Distance between the provider's yard and your address affects both price and availability.
